serious business! :thumbsup :)

Mutt 12-28-2014 06:13 AM

oh jeeze, what guys will do just to get laid. :Oh crap

i understand being crazy and fearless but how do they even learn how to do that, and why do it in such a rocky enviroment - why not do it over water? i guess because they are daredevils and it wouldn't be badass enough to get the girls to spread their legs if it was less dangerous.

i am assuming the guy they dedicate it to at the end died in some accident doing this or something similar.

i do think it has to do with getting laid, you don't see monks and priests jumping off mountains.

you gotta try that Teencat, you seem nuts enough to give it a go :thumbsup

pornsprite 12-28-2014 07:12 AM

Those guys are badasses for sure.

seeandsee 12-28-2014 08:23 AM

Flying in a wingsuit is VERY SAFE........... there have only been a few deaths (recently). Jeb Corliss nearly killed himself after crashing into some rocks. It hasn't put him off and after fixing his broken bones says he wants to fly again:

Veteran flyer Kovats died but that was because his parachute failed to deploy:

Mark Sutton died:

James Bond Stuntman Dies in Wingsuit Accident - ABC News

Brian Drake died:

Brian Drake dies in Switzerland after wingsuit crash - UPI.com

Ramon Rojas died:

Ramón Rojas dead: Record-breaking base jumper killed in Switzerland wingsuit accident - People - News - The Independent

Alex Duncan died:

West Australian wingsuit flyer killed after hitting mountain in Switzerland

Three wingsuit jumpers also died:

Three Killed In Wingsuit Flying Accident in Switzerland

Too many wingsuit deaths. BUT ITS 100% SAFE.... YOU CANNOT DIE FROM THIS.

I REPEAT, IT IS 100% SAFE AND YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER.... BECAUSE ITS COOL AND YOUR DEAD BODY WILL GET LAID.

SilentKnight 12-28-2014 11:33 AM

I'm preparing to launch a new service that will provide stand-ins willing to get laid in the event a wingsuit flyer dies and leaves behind a bevy of horny female groupies.

It'll be a sole proprietorship.

RummyBoy 12-28-2014 11:50 AM

A solemn warning to Wingsuit flyers | Xtremesport

From above source: "Although wingsuit flying is not on the list (there is probably not enough data to work with yet) it is probably somewhere between skydiving and BASEjumping. It is an interesting aside, though, that fatality rates were very high during the developmental period for this extreme sport. Between 1930 and 1961, 71 out of 75 people died trying to perfect a wingsuit."

It looks like at the current stage at least 3% of all wingsuit flyers die from the activity.

YOU WILL GET LAID............. TO REST!

bronco67 12-28-2014 01:49 PM

I see his future and it involves a face full of cliff.

Think about that sport for a moment. At that speed, your first mistake will be your last. And no one can be mistake free.

SilentKnight 12-28-2014 01:55 PM

I'm all for Darwinians taking themselves out of the gene pool in the most spectacular fashion - but I feel sorry for the rescuers/recovery workers who put themselves at risk to scrape up what's left of these adrenaline junkies.

But that said - wing-suitors and GoPro cams were surely made for one another. Rather spectacular footage...even if the memory chip has to be pried out of a tree trunk afterwards.

American Psycho 12-28-2014 02:23 PM

Fucking awesome.
clearly dangerous but props to them.

Im sure they love life as as result they might die any day.

:disgust Some like to push a little further is all! Amazing video, and fantastic catch from the head cam.....really enjoyed that flight.

Look at what goes into the design and structure of these suits! It will blow your mind.

That gene pool, will need people with nuts:thumbsup

WarChild 12-28-2014 02:59 PM

I think it's funny that "have luck" is basically synonymous with "derp" at GFY.

You are retarded.

crockett 12-28-2014 03:11 PM

I bet that is a hell of a rush, but no fucking way in hell would I jump out of a perfectly good airplane, much less jump off a cliff.

I sense irony in this post......

bronco67 12-28-2014 05:20 PM

Ok, but a real high five is flesh on flesh contact. Let's see if they have the balls to try that.

Probably a high chance of drowning since they're going so fast.

Hitting water at that speed, you might as well land in the road....

Very true........ although, it is possible to land on water in a wingsuit without parachute at slower speed:

And another good point to make is that if you crash badly and nearly kill yourself, you could end up on CONAN a second time like Jeb Corliss - worth seeing him recounting his accident. He may be fucking mad but he's a good speaker:

RIP JEB CORLISS (even though he isn't actually, technically dead yet)

ReggieDurango 12-28-2014 11:14 PM

That video was a fake for sure.........:1orglaugh
Some day they may be able to throw a drag shoot to slow down enough to make it happen.

adultchatpay 12-29-2014 06:11 AM

RIP VALERY ROZOV (Not dead yet, not today, not tomorrow but someday soon...)

TrafficRush 12-29-2014 08:00 AM

My wingsuit is being built.. The manufacturer let's me make production stage deposits.. They are not exactly cheap like going out and buying a new phone. There look simple but there are many airfoils and control surfaces built-in to the suit. I am a pilot, mechanic, and adrenaline junkie.

How much is it costing? There are so many options to consider, I can't decide:

Squirrel Wingsuits Manufacturer: Range, Prices & Photos - Colugo Aura Swift

TonySuit Wingsuit Range - Incliding X3, X-Bird and Apache BASE Wingsuit.

IF IM GOING TO DIE, I WANT THE BEST ODDS OF IT NOT HAPPENING AS WELL AS TO LOOK LIKE A CORPSE COOL ENOUGH TO GET LAID... which type of suit you recommend?

Robin 12-29-2014 09:15 AM

Awesome stuff. Wingsuiters are by far the best guys to hang around with, loads of experience, crazy but also very calculated. What pisses me off is that they are taking way too much space in the airplane :)))

SekobA 12-29-2014 01:03 PM

they have some big balls

PR_Glen 12-29-2014 02:22 PM

yeah it looks pretty stupid, but tell me that wouldn't at least make for a fun video game?

reminds me of pilots wings..
