Cognitive impairment is one of the most important negative consequences associated with cannabis consumption.

MiamiBoyz 12-27-2014 06:52 AM

Sorry but that is actually a Benefit of pot consumption.

Markul 12-27-2014 07:04 AM

You know regardless of what facts you drum up, people addicted to drugs will not be able to comprehend what they are doing to themselves. I know. I've been there. Only when you are past your addiction will you be able to see wtf you were actually doing.

But I am sure there will be plenty of people in here ready to defend their cannabis (ab)use :thumbsup

I rewrote what I posted, lol, but there reference link is a .ris file or something, you have to explain how you come to results, like the vitamin study's last year, this is all bs I bet.

and Markul, I have reasoning skills rather stoned or not.

Best-In-BC 12-27-2014 08:08 AM

David suzuki who is also a know lie'er and bullshiter for who ever pays him. He has worked with nature channel in the past promoting bullshit about pot and that is causes schizophrenia in young teens. which is bullshit.

Sirolimus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Andrés Ozaita, of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain, along with colleagues in France and Germany, focused on THC, the main psychoactive chemical compound in marijuana, which acts on a specific class of receptors known as cannabinoid receptors. These receptors are known to affect the connection strength between neurons.

The scientists found that THC increases the activity of a pathway that promotes protein synthesis in the mouse brain. This transient increase of protein synthesis was mediated specifically by cannabinoid receptors expressed on the brain?s inhibitory neurons, and correlated with long-term memory deficits in mice. The authors also found that inhibition of this signaling pathway by sirolimus prevents THC-induced amnesia in mice.[43]

43- Cannabinoid modulation of hippocampal long-term memory is mediated by mTOR signaling

rent this for $4 you cheap fuck then you'll have the answer won't you?

Cannabis is a neuroprotectant and actually helps repair brain damage.

Here is a fox news link, as people that retarded to believe the propaganda about cannabis, would likely only believe in new if it was on fox.

Most of the time it is smarter people telling other what bad things they should not do and what good things they should do. So in most cases it is a good thing in terms of bettering the society :)

Im just glad we are finally getting to the point where we will no longer be paying our taxes to keep non-violent consenting adults in prison for choosing to smoke pot or sell an organic plant to other consenting adult.

Robbie 12-27-2014 03:43 PM

I think it's bad when people DON'T blow off a little steam.

Life is too short to not have some fun. That's why human beings have searched and found ways to get fucked up since the days of the caveman.

I'd say that everyone should get high or drunk every once in a while and just relax.
Getting fucked up on the weekend helps to recharge the batteries and reinvigorates you to kick ass all the next week.

Getting high or drunk occasionally is fine, many people either can't limit their usage for psychological and biochemical reasons and smoke/drink every day and that has negative long term health effects.

My sister just told me that one of her high school friends, total winner guy, fairly rich parents, dad was a surgeon, good looking, popular party boy, a guy i looked up to and was hoping i'd be like when i got to high school - dead at 55 of cirhossis(sp?) of the liver from booze.

Robbie 12-27-2014 06:22 PM

Yeah Mutt, you're right. I wasn't referring to the percentage of people who are alcoholics and/or physically addicted to a substance.

Everyone has a different physiology.

I was referring to the vast majority of people.

It seems like our society wants to make us all live according to what the lowest common denominator is.

A small percentage of folks are predisposed genetically to alcoholism: therefore we MUST stop everyone from getting drunk.
You know what I mean.

For the majority of people it is psychologically beneficial to blow off some steam on the weekend and have a good time.
For a small percentage of people...that is something that they can not do because they are physiologically incapable (addictive personality and/or genetically physically addictive prone)

420 12-27-2014 06:23 PM

I'm addicted to gfy and it's bad for my neurological health.
