I thought it was great they used the final song from Dr. Strangelove to sendoff Stephen Colbert... and the guest list was INSANE.

Who do you recognize???

Didn't even recognize Peter Frampton until I looked at the 'cheat sheet'.

I recognized many, but the ones I didn't were driving me crazy. I didn't recognize Frampton either, and I had no idea who that chick with the wild hair was until I found out later it was Cindy Lauper. Was she ever a guest on his show? I also didn't recognize Pussy Riot at first. There's a youtube video somewhere that list and posts to as many known faces as possible.

Too bad you don't like him - his was one of the funniest, and probably most important, shows on TV.

At first I thought it was Goldie Hawn.

Me neither and he was full-face! Actually he looked like one of those maniacal conservative re-repressed homosexual preacher guys...

I think it was an "honorary" thing, though I wouldn't be surprised everyone there was a guest at one point. Even Big Bird - didn't Colbert do a thing about terrorism with muppets?

Yeah - Colbert, Daily Show, GFY and my spam subject lines all gimme more news than the network shows...

I am not a fan of the Colbert Report and only started watching it this week - Yeah, I know it's the last week... I thought I would watch the last few episodes.

I am a huge fan of John Stewart, however. He nails it on the head every time and is much funnier.

Heh heh... maybe The Colbert Report doesn't attract people who sound a little too much like him...

Was a VERY good send-off, and I will miss The Colbert Report like mad. The show replacing it looks lame ass and too politically-correct. Hoping it will be funny, I like Larry Wilmore.

But I am seriously looking forward to Colbert's show on CBS. He will be the only late night show, other than The Daily Show, I will probably watch. I cannot stand the other late night hosts.
