How Does XNXX Rank Their Videos?
 

Does anybody know what factors are needed to get your videos on the front page of xnxx.com? I've had a few of my videos placed on the front page of the site several times, and it grew my income by A LOT. So i'm trying to figure out what should i do to make that happen again.

Why do you need that info? I can tell you the statistics of my last video that got featured, but i prefer not to post the link here.

Most of those come from the time it was on the front page, i don't think it was a very popular video before this.

I know that, but the videos that were selected for the frontpage from my collection were mediu-low quality, that's why i find it weird.

And i know that they must have an algorithm to select the videos (and i'm guessing that it;s based on view/likes/comments)

In the last few weeks i've shared one of my quality videos on all my social network account, it got up to 500k views and almost 1k likes, but it still wasn't featured...

If I wanted to answer, I would need to see it... Thats all.

Thing is, you can talk to me about stats and views and algorithms and stuff, until you are blue in the face, and I don't have a clue about the answers :(

I would think length of video would have a strong indication if it stays on front page or not.

i woudn't say length is a deciding factor, right now there is a video on the front page that is only 43 seconds long

Good luck, I have heard the formula is views, length, positive upvotes. Those are the only three things that could decide that in an algo... and then of course the bro factor.

The length is almost the same (for promo vids), 5+ or 8+ min.. or full length then which are usually stolen vids or videos by sponsors :)

Are there any services that you can pay to deliver views likes and shit like that? I know there is a lot of youtube services for this. Just wondering if there is a service for sites like xvideos pornbub and some other top sites. Let me know thanks!

All those algo tricks considering "Likes" are working alike. They measure velocity of likes and discount certain flaws. You need a certain amount of new votes within a certain time frame. Basically, all you need to do is: start a conspirative skype group of 30 to 50 people that will agree to meet every day at the same time and upvote the same videos from different accounts within 2 or 3 hours. I am certain it will work like a charme.

there were times when i got 50+likes and 3-4-5k views in one hour, and my video was still not on the frontpage. either this is not enough, or this is not what their algorithm is based on.

For me it looks like it's all random :)

I don't think that it is completely random, i rarely see crappy videos on the front page. But it is possible that there is a random %.

Length, quality, times viewed, I think they all go into the position.

With our movies at xhamster, depending on length, whether it makes front page, then search ranges with times viewed & popularity :2 cents:

if i had to choose, i would keep an eye on

upvotes, comments, views,downloads,added to favorites in x amount of time then show it on featured.

basically upvotes are enough, but only if there is system to block upvote spamming.

Flaws = unreliable factors.
