How do you add funds to a epassporte visa?

I don't have one but I would like to know how you can add funds to a epassporte visa. By another creditcard or wiretransfer?

Not sure about wires yet, unless you have a commercial account....but you can fund it with your existing credit card

A personal account is currently funded with your existing credit card; commercial accounts are funded with wire transfers.

There will be more options shortly :)

So I get paid by the sponsor (who has a biz epassporte account) into my personal epassporte account, and then I'd like to pay others (who have a visa online merchant account) with my "epassporte-virtual visa", without further transferring or wiring anything anywhere...

Will it work that way?

Meaning that after the sponsor sent money to my epassporte account, the funds will be immediately available to me, and I can instantly make online purchases at all online visa merchant account holders - and the places where I shop online with my epassporte/virtual visa do not need to have any account or biz relation to epassporte whatsoever ?

Yes, that is what it means -- provided the online merchant is using a true online setup -- for instance Southwest Airlines has no problem with the epassporte numbers, but one of the small Canadian airlines doesn't truly run virtual transactions so they can't take it --

Oh and awu, you have mail --

But those who recently were able to process my "real visa" online, should be able to process my "virtual epassporte visa" as well (online too)?

Kimmykim 03-13-2003 07:30 PM

Not neccesarily -- it depends on the system they are using to do the actual interfacing with the bank.

Most places can take it without a problem, however there are a few that have been problematic due to their setup.

Thanks...

Guess I have to try it out in real life. Already have an account and hopefully it'll work with my host, that would be cute

One last note -- if you've got specific questions about epassporte or its' setup, by all means email me -- [email protected] --

I'm headed off to meet the rest of the Phoenix webmasters shortly so I won't be posting much more this evening --
