yes, just useless trees. Only Wifi-transmitting beings should have the right to exist.

Don't be so simple minded. Why must I be a republican? For starters I am Canadian and we don't have "republicans". Second I don't think you have to be a "republican" or whatever to avoid drinking the CAGW kool-aid.

I am just a rational person who recognizes the simple fact that plants turn CO2 into oxygen. I saw a documentary a few weeks back about the rainforests of earth that talked about all of the plant life producing "precious oxygen". It stands to reason then that if oxygen is precious then so too is CO2 because we wouldn't have one without the other. No CO2 = no vegetation = no oxygen.

cutting down trees while producing more CO2 = imbalance

you cannot seriously believe we can just produce as much CO2 as possible and let the trees take care of it - while for example in Brazil every minute rain forrest of the size of a football field disappears (=being cut/burnt down)

Increased CO2 = increased vegetation growth. We are nowhere near having too much CO2 in the air.

Anyways, I don't want to hijack the OP's thread with an argument over the effects of CO2. I agree with the sentiment of the thread - I am all for planting trees and preserving woodlands. Deforestation is a bigger problem than CO2 emissions and the former deserves the attention, and funding, that the latter is receiving.

Sadly, much of the rainforest that is being cut down around the world is being cut down to grow sugar cane to produce ethanol that is burned for fuel in place of oil to reduce CO2 emissions. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

this is actually something i can agree to - at least both should have the same attention/funding - about the former rarely anyone speaks

If trees gave off wifi signals all the birds would die from RF radiation.

American Psycho 11-18-2014 09:22 PM

So then lets make the trees into wifi hotspots
