ServerGenius 03-13-2003 08:31 AM

UltraEdit the only editor you will EVER need!

DynaMite :2 cents:

G Sharp 03-13-2003 08:33 AM

I just upgraded my software to CoffeeCup9.5
Always worked good for me!

Big_J 03-13-2003 09:22 AM

Emacs and Dreamweaver.

candyflip 03-13-2003 09:24 AM

I love the new Dreamweaver MX. It's got all of the old Homesite features integrated into it.

BBEdit is also the shit...for those who use Mac :)

gothweb 03-13-2003 09:24 AM

Adobe PageMill 3.0. WYSIWYG table editing is the only thing I really need in an editor.

Kat - Fast 03-13-2003 09:28 AM

http://www.htmlvalidator.com/ the lite version is good - the pro isn't worth paying extra for

Edit Plus works for me, although I haven't really tried any others.

iroc409 03-13-2003 10:46 AM

ahaha... emacs and dreamweaver, what a crappy combination! emacs != good. do yourself a favor and download vim :winkwink:

too lazy to learn dreamweaver, that wysiwyg stuff is too complicated, i use golive, 1st page 2000 (some crazy freeware from australia kinda like homesite but smaller & faster). 1st page 2000 kicks ass for code :thumbsup

used to use pagemill, that r0x0rz for pumping pages out really fast, but doesn't seem good for me for complicated stuff.

Lizzie 03-13-2003 10:56 AM

Have used nothing but Hotdog.
Up to Professional 5 now.

Jakke PNG 03-13-2003 11:04 AM

Nothing but notepad.
I should probably learn dreamweaver some pretty day. Been too busy to learn anything new for the past 12 months. :-/

I still use ColdFusion studio, I should move to Dreamweaver.
I like type'n me own text. Nothing like getting buried in tables in a text editor.

SykkBoy 03-13-2003 12:24 PM

TextPad here...spellchecking and global search and replace rule.......

titmowse 03-13-2003 12:55 PM

Couldn't believe it was free, either.
