Ok so it is for sharing videos like instagram is for sharing pics? Sounds cool, aside from the fact that you can share videos on sinstagram as well. So what is the point? :1orglaugh

If you were smart and understood what you were ranting about you'd know that Vine has been popular for a long time, and is actually owned by Twitter and the fact that Instagram has videos now BECAUSE of Vine.

Take it easy. I did not know that vine was before instagram. Reason I asked was this: one sports team I follow recently added vine as one of their social profiles while they already had instagram for a long time. I though - they post vids on IG and now they found another site to do the same :)

The format is clever.

Your restricted to 5 secs (or something).

But the app lets you stop and start recording.

Vine, Instagram, Twitter, Pintrest, etc all useless... No need for anything more than Facebook where you could already do basically everything offered by these other websites. However people are sheep that flock to something new even if it just simplifies a specific feature already covered in other websites.

Stupid is harsh but I do think he may be a bot of some sort. How many times has he replied "What do you mean?" to somebody? provoking further engagement.
