I have now been in adult about 5 months. During that time I have learnt that adult traffic converts very shitty. I have also learnt that it isn't that much easier to get adult traffic and the traffic needs quite high maintenance to keep coming.

I am wondering that is there any point doing adult affiliate business if there are other possibilities? I can do mainstream as well.. I am doing it as well. How this adult business is supposed to work? Do I need to get more shady, piracy, black hat, spam, or what (I really don't want to)? Should I just focus my efforts to mainstream and leave my porn sites rotten?

What are the pros of adult affiliate? I already know the cons too well.

Well, I do that already. I do for example write articles and such, but one needs break from that too and I thought that adult business would be a nice change for writing articles. Yeah, it would, if it just would pay off.

You can try something that you are passionate about with mainstreet affiliate companies like cj dot com and linkshare dot com. Amazon is good too. Someone gave you the best advice, which is to do what you are passionate about. My two cents.

I have heard etsy is good for e-commerce stuff. My friends mother owns a rug company and she sells a lot of rugs on ebay, that is another good e-commerce option.
