Worst Music Videos/Song of all time.....

I don't know about you, but my unusually shaped cranium "traps" crapious songs in there and won't release them until I pass them on to some other poor bastard! Kinda like a musical chain letter.

These folks have suffered for their art. Now it's OUR turn!

Here's a good place to exorcise those musical demons: www.facebook.com/groups/horrendousmusicandvideos

I always thought the video to Lionel Richie's 'Hello' was incredibly awful--schmaltzy, maudlin, and laughably bad:

It doesn't get much worse than this.

I remember this chunk of shit from a long time ago. I remember seeing 'the sweater song' come up on our local music video channel and telling a friend that this is by far the worst song ever made... but quickly found out it was the one by Weezer and actually loving it soon after..

This is the turd i was referring to though..

I am pretty amazed that they would release such a shiity video for a big artist. The lip synch is WAY off! Poor Mick Fleetwood probably felt like a douche too!

In their defense, 1981 was the first year MTV was available, and music videos were pretty much an entirely new form, so there were a lot of shitty videos made... I remember a really terrible one by Hall & Oates where they were walking around a sofa (!).

Wonderwoman aka Linda Carter; "You're Moving out Today":

She still has enough charisma to pull it off for me....

I've got several high end contenders, from the top of my head:

When it comes to 80's, only very few could contend with Modern Talking back in the day, not only in album sales and the amount of posters in teenage rooms, but also in a unique style - and they were never afraid to use advanced visual effects either:

Elton John is also responsible for one of the most colorful videos in the music history, I am always close to experiencing an epilleptic attack whenever having a chance to watch this vid:

And if you want to experience a whole new level of ubergay, you need to go exotic and visit Bulgaria:

On a side note - I've always been a fond admirer of Army of Lovers, they put up a stellar line up of some of the most amazing creatives in the music video history, such as this:

They are genius.

And the nuttiest video of the 80's?

that's a very, very tough, if not an impossible call - but Adam and the Ants may be coming close.
