Wisconsin cops shoot dog

MaDalton 11-04-2014 05:21 PM

they had to protect themselves, the dog could have attacked them...

When a dozen cops in combat gear and an armored vehicle show up someone's getting shot.

Tom_PM 11-04-2014 05:25 PM

..in the back while it walked away.

I think the reaction was over the top but only because by now EVERYONE should know that cops (in the USA) will always kill any dog that is on a property where they think a bad guy is at. Always.

None of these people are pigs

I carry everywhere I go. If I ever come across a scene like that it will be the day I die for I will empty my pistol on the cops.

Here's another disturbing dog shooting video. While the dog did charge the officer in this video, one has to weigh the risk of the officer getting bit versus the bullet ricocheting off the pavement and striking one of the many bystanders. Look at the setting. This is extremely dangerous and the dog should have instead been maced.

Limp dicks pull triggers quickly.

That dog looked like a small breed also. What was it going to jump up and bite someone in the leg? Pathetic

Spunky 11-04-2014 07:42 PM

I should know better than to watch those clips :(

This is a truism and a sad state of affairs. If this were my dog it would have affected me very badly!!!!

Caldo 11-05-2014 01:54 AM

Wtf... poor dog :(

directfiesta 11-05-2014 02:02 AM

12 men in armored gear aren't man enough to handle a mid sized dog who is walking the other direction?

No cop has been killed by a dog in more than 50 years. More cops have been killed by bee stings.

MrTrollkien 11-07-2014 08:56 PM

Is this a policy of all police departments to shoot dogs? That dog wasn't a threat to anybody, let alone these pussy policemen. Forward a copy of this video to the local news stations and the chief.

That dog was shot because one of those cops was itching to shoot something that day. Maybe he thought he could get away with killing a dog easier.

Jel 11-08-2014 06:56 AM

I guess this is why we need more idiot disabled guys in wheelchairs for cops to let their PMT out on

seeandsee 11-08-2014 07:23 AM

Un fucking real... and no I don't think the reaction was over the top at all. It could have been that family's dog, or maybe just the dog of one of their friends or neighbours... if I had been there I would have had the same reaction.

I would never carry a gun, but I have to admit that this would be a good reason for me never to have one.

I could understand that reaction if it came from a child, but from grown adults who clearly were not the dog owners? as wanky a thing as it was to happen, dog is alive... split second later dog is dead - zero pain or suffering or understanding death was coming.

I can understand having massive empathy for the owners, and their loss of a loved one, but that hyperbole reaction? That was just nuts.

Yep, every day animal control officers armed with a pole with a slip-rope on the end capture all kinds of pissed off dogs. No need to shoot one like that.

I wish cops knew that MOST dogs will not attack a person, no matter how scary they look. This dog didn't even look slightly scary.

I know its easy to say sitting at my computer, but I think I love dogs enough to take a possible bite as an alternative to shooting it dead. Dogs flex to protect their turf, even the nicest ones.
