Anyone Have A Pay Site?
 

Just wondering if you have a pay site and get a half dozen assholes a day that run password progs at it trying to hack their way in??
And does anyone know a good script to use on an index to switch for a few minutes and lock up their fuxin puter???

Yup, Once we got over 400,000 hits for several days in a row. There's not really too much you can do. I heard someone suggest setting up a redirect on authorization failures that makes it look like they got in (fake members page). I haven't tried it myself, but it sounds like it has fun possibilities. :Graucho

If your website is running PHP, I have seen some security scripts that will prevent any non-browser based connections. These scripts use cookies and have anti-flood features included. I'll post the URL as soon as I get a reply from the guy I know who built a working version.

Thanks, I was thinking about making another page with X in front of it that was a redirect bomb and when I noticed on the Server status some ass was hitting it I'd ftp in and add a 1 in front of the index they were hitting and take the x away from the redirect bomb and let that be the index they were hitting..
Nobodys got in in 5 years but it pisses me off when they run these progs..
Doesn't slow the box down and I really don't care about the BW but as I say it burns my butt!
If they ever did get in I'd kill the password within 5 minutes anyway..
