R.I.P. Jack Bruce has passed away...

One of the greats... so few years, yet so much influence...

The band in heaven is getting better and better....

I prefer the studio version I listened to as a teen on the radio.

RIP Jack Bruce.

A rock God who played with so many people, including some fabulous guitarists like Trower, West, Moore and Clapton. Powerful distinctive voice and dynamic, inventive bass playing that put him up there with other groundbreaking 60's bassists like Entwistle, Bogert, Casady and McCartney.

He did the vocals for so many of those incredible awesome and unforgettable tunes...

I love this artist...

:D

I heard on the radio that he had died.

Hard to believe that so much time has went by.
Could there be a more powerful rhythm section than he and Ginger Baker in Cream?

And I remember a few years ago when they FINALLY did that Cream reunion gig. At the time, I read that Jack Bruce finally just flat up told Eric Clapton that he was too much of a pussy to play with them again...and apparently that did the trick. :)

Great singer, great bassist, great musician.

Yeah, Clapton started out as a god, but later downgraded. Bruce and Baker never stopped. Bruce set the bar.
