How to buy country specific Domain names?
 

Hi guys,

Have any of you had experience with buying country specific domain extensions for countries in which you don't live?

Example, I want to buy a .it or .es domain name, but don't have an adress there.

Do you know of any services or agents that provide such a service?

Good question, I've often wondered about this as well.

The best way is to setup an EU corp that will own the EU based domains.

1&1 Internet is based in the United Kingdom and can register and host the following TLDs: .eu .co.uk .me.uk .org.uk
Dotster can register domain names for the following country codes: .dk .fr .se .at .nu .org.uk .ch .de .be .cc .it .no .co.uk .sr .me.uk .ca .nl .tv .md .la .sc .vc .hn .eu

They now have .uk domain domain too. I did let my only co.uk domain expire recently, but I still got infoblast that I have some right to this new .uk domain.

Easiest way to have address is to establish PO box, by the way.
