How do sites with format like these make money?

Sites like these http://guff.com/
Theres a ton of them I see them all over facebook with links and when you go to the site they list maybe 4 items then you go to the next page to see more and more.

I have a great domain name for a site like this but i dont know how we'' they do or if they even work
