Big tubes and Adblock warnings

So, some of the Manwin/Mindgeek tubes now have warnings about users who are using adblock and are trying to get users to disable with verbage such as:

AdBlock blows! Please disable the add-on to ensure you get the most out of Tube8's features and functionality. Read about why you shouldn't use AdBlock.

You have Adblock enabled. Adblock has been known to cause issues with site functionality. If you are experiencing any difficulties, please try disabling Adblock.

Would be interesting to know the % of users who visit tubes with adblock installed as obviously affects the tubes income and I'm guessing more are using it with these messages appearing recently.
However, having been greeted with these almost scare text tactics and 2 pop unders, I'm guessing most still won't turn off adblock on a tube site :Oh crap

If only a few percent do turn off adblock then it's worth it. :2 cents:

They could just code there site to force the ads to load anyways regardless of adblocker..
They are already able to tell when a user is using it that's only a couple steps away from displaying the ads regardless of ad blocker.

That said very few people using adblocker click on ads even when you get around it.
You do how ever recover a % of traffic.. *not as high a % as you would think*
Less than 5%

What you do get is an increase in Ad impr's at the trade off of a some what lower traffic quality for the people buying your ads.

From what I've read it's 10%+ on average... so certainly not a trivial amount...

I think what they are really after are increased impressions for the popunders. Think of all those freeloading visitors. To be able to get $2-$4/per 1k users is huge as far as revenue.

Do to NDA I can't say the exact % but it is less than 10% it can be higher if the site is more aggressive in its ads, ad placement and ad types

Correct this would increase the ad loads to users that block the popup.
There are ways to popup around ad blocker but this takes weekly sometimes daily updates.
But if rev from popup is the goal changing it from a 1 in 24 hrs to less than 24 hr would give a higher return.
