Uh, some of my index pages just slid off the map for multiple Google terms. I'm guessing some silly wanker just gave me the shaft a la google spam report. Maybe I'm wrong.

This happened before. It doesn't impact me a whole lot, except that it kinda hurts my feelings a bit. I'm an honest cat, and the terms I do well on are spread out well. (i.e. I don't cheat.)

Given the questionable intelligence of the strategy, I think I can conclude that someday the person responsible will grow cajones and do something equally ineffective, but more overt, to me or to someone else. And they'll get cut down to size. So all is well karma land.

By the way, Google is eliminating the usefulness of snatching domains for PageRank. Like, now, dude.

You could have legitimatly lost your ranks though, google just did it little dance a couple days ago, and they might have tried a slightly different algorithm. One of my terms I went from #1 to #5 with. Honestly, I don't mind going down really, since it can be or can't be a porn term, and being #1 means I would get a lot of the non-porn looking traffic. Didn't even try for the word either :O
