    I am back from my wilderness place

    ...I have an appointment with a heart specialist to keep and based upon him giving me a thumbs up...I will have an appointment with an anesthesiologist and based upon him giving me a thumbs up I am scheduled for more surgery...tentatively set for the 22nd.

    I had an experience with a skunk this time out. It stunk my AO up pretty good for a week or more.

                                              None...and hopefully I will not have to kill another one. The one I killed had to be killed as it was going after my dog. It blew the ambush on my dog and as it was trying to recover from its error...it gave me the few seconds I needed to shoot it with my .357 Mag. It was old and skinny and I am satisfied it did not have many days left to live. If that were not the case and a young healthy lion had sprung the ambush my dog would probably have been killed.

                                              There is already a new lion in my AO...but I have yet to see it...and I have yet to see evidence of a possible ambush...but it does make me concerned for the safety of my two dogs. Hopefully I will get sight of it which will give me the opportunity to scare it out of the area by popping off a few rounds.
