Monday Night Football: Seahawks over Redskins 52-3

Hawks finally hitting on all cylinders. Wilson throws for 400 yards in the nations capital.

the only thing tht concerns me re: this game is why is the spread not larger? 7 points seems awful sketchy, this seems like it should be a blowout, seattle looks mighty fine and washington is mighty not fine.

hmmmmmmmmm

They dock some points for west coast team traveling to east coast. That is really all I can think of.

also, perhaps it's figured in how seattle let denver back in the game a couple weeks ago, at the end there.

redskins still score a lot of points despite their record and seatles defence doesn't seem as dominant so far.

I think it is going to be a close game. Seattle is a different team on the road.

I think Washington has good chance of pulling upset.

dyna mo 10-06-2014 11:35 AM

i just looked at some stats, washington has the 4th best offense (total yardage) in the nfl, I'm suprised. maybe that 2nd string qb kurt cousins is capable of guiding the offense.......

that would be the monster upset of the season so far! :1orglaugh i've got some leeway in a straight-up pick'em league I'm in to pick wash for an upset,............I might risk it

I think the spread isn't as high as some might have expected because of that one loss Seattle took in week two down in San Diego.

Had they won that one road game I have no doubt the line on tonight's game would be more like Redskins +12 or more.

I see quite a few in the pool went with the underdog anyway. :D

Mmmmmmm .....starting Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch in my fantasy league. Tonight will be the stuff of legend.

so place your bets if you believe spread is not correct

the line is set exactly where people who love the seahawks think its a bargain, while contrarians question whats up with the short #. In the end the line gets action on both sides due to those thought processes. Sometimes vegas takes a hit on the weak lines but over the long run they end up ahead due to players inability to manage money & emotions.

Agreed.
I doubt it'll be a blowout...but, I can't see Seattle losing.

I can see them losing every time I close my eyes. Would love to see Seattle lose tonight and no way will it be 52-3 when it's only 7-0 in the 2nd

I'll say 21-13 seattle wins
