Is fiverr ANY good?

I tried once more to get traffic from a gig on fiverr.

What I have bought so far:

x) Hardlink on a PR4 site
x) Blogentry on a pornblog
x) 3 Tweets for a total of 100.000 (porn-)followers
x) Logo for a pornsite
x) "Traffic" from Reddit - added an URL 5 times

Results:

x) hardlink maybe a small impact - not really measurable
x) No hit from blog - visible by google like a fart
x) 5 hits from the tweets
x) 5 revisions and still a crap logo, which i could have done in 5 minutes myself
x) 1 hit from reddit

So I can say: No revenue at all for 35$ - Does anyone had a positive fiverr experience?

adultchatpay 10-03-2014 01:04 AM

At fiveer, you get what you paid for.

PornDiscounts-V 10-03-2014 01:06 AM

Why would anyone sell a legit pr4 link for $3.72?

LizardKing 10-03-2014 01:32 AM

yes true with the pr4 link

but 5$ for reddit, twitter, etc - with 5$ i get 3k visits from trafficholder or any other traffic-broker. I've spent 15$ and got 6 hits
When I spent 5$ I expect at least *some* traffic.

Tho I have to say that I got my money back from 3 of the 5 sellers because of my complaints.
But thats not the point - Are there any gigs with a real value?

C4W 10-03-2014 01:38 AM

It depence on what you shop.

TidalWave 10-03-2014 01:58 AM

How can ANY of them have any REAL value when you are paying $5?

What can YOU do for someone to give them REAL value for $5?

Adult-biz 10-03-2014 02:08 AM

As C4W mentioned, their is some decent gigs available depending on what you`re shopping for. I had a guy produce a logo for me a few weeks back. He did 4 variations for me and all were pretty good. I sent him some extra $ because he did a decent job.

lock 10-03-2014 02:25 AM

I have spent probably spent $1000+ there and some gigs are of great value some are worth nothing.

tier link pyramids, high traffic sites, there are some gems amongst them.

LizardKing 10-03-2014 04:13 AM

It really depends on what you purchase and from who. Usually those tiwtter tweet gigs are scams because you can purchase 100,000 followers and then simply go to fiverr and sell tweets and profit.

It's all fake followers though.

$10 (Voice Over) Perfect.
$10 (Short 3d Render in 720p) Perfect.
$5 (linking) I bitched, Fiverr stepped in and refunded my money.
$5 (Photo Retouching) Perfect.
15$ (Two sided brochure) In progress, looking good but taking time.
$400 (More complicated 3d render 1080p) in progress, looking good, taking time, and I think he is going to want significantly more money to do what I want. I'm 50% to blame as I didn't describe exactly what I wanted (I wasn't sure what I wanted).

So far so good. Will spend more there.

I wouldn't touch the SEO-stuff they got there except maybe a couple of quality backlinks. Do not buy those fucking link-pyramids and similar stuff. It wont do you anything good.

Welcome. Please update here how they turn out.

My experience:

I bought 7 gigs for 35$ to get information on a subject, just plain info that could be put in wordpress.

I gave them a sample of OUR OWN non-english website as a sample.

I got back our own text, copied and pasted in a single Word page.

I took it like a man;-). Didn't even comment nor download the link. Never will look back there for anything.

Sounds like you were delivered exactly what was promised every time. Are you sure it's Fiverr that is the problem?

xXXtesy10 10-03-2014 04:22 PM

my cousin make pimp money on fiverr site he is here doing it!

Kingfish 10-03-2014 04:31 PM

If you're buying Reddit submissions your eventually going to get fucked. Somebody is going to find out they are selling submissions and all the domains submitted by that user will be put on Reddit's black list.

The value at Fiverr is the cheap logos, banners, and other stuff where the seller can't automate the task.

wehateporn 10-03-2014 04:33 PM

Found one good writer there, but he had a huge backlog

Fiver looks like a busy place :thumbsup

Just an idea :2 cents:

My Fiverr Experience:

2 different Logos with PST ordered.

Neither are "finished" quality in my opinion (that's why I got the PST's) or insanely groundbreaking imaginative, however both are the start to what good be excellent and saved me lots of creative time. Communication on 1 single edit of each could have been faster and on one logo it took 2 times to get him/her to add in a missing letter.

Bottom line I got what I paid for and I am happy. I will absolutely use again for more work.

Cost per Logo with PST $15.

Thanks Online Marketing Services!
