Scam Alert-"GorillaLinks" Wannabe
 

Hey, I'm not one to usually get into personal politics but I thought it'd be fair to let GFY'ers know about this one. A few weeks ago Andy was selling textlinks and such on gorillalinks. http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...gorill alinks

Last night, I was contacted by an imposter saying he ran gorillalinks and claiming he'd sell bannerspots for X amount and such. Okay, so having good faith I was about to paypal him the money when I checked on the gorillalinks page The paypal addresses did not correspond. This guy told me to send the money to [email protected] and the paypal on the gorillalinks did not match obviously. Doing a whois on both domains confirmed my suspicions. So users beware the guy may be contacting you by ICQ claiming he's selling traffic on gorillalinks or another site. His ICQ Number is: 78881543 if anyone else has any other info on this guy then reply in this thread.

This guy contacted me too. Made no mention of running Gorilla Links though.

Simple miscommunication, but i was under the impression he was from gorillalinks. I apologize if this has been taken further than it had to be.This thread is in the grave I won't respond to it anymore.

I will. I paypal'd this guy 50 bucks for some traffic. As soon as i read this, i got worried and sent him the link to the thread. If you're going to call someone a scammer, take the time to re-read your logs at least. What a pathetic display. You can seriously fuck with someone's reputation by posting shit like this.

Furthermore, how do you think people are going to feel about doing business with you? An honest webmaster maks a comment that you misinterpret, and you go running to the boards and kill his rep. I wouldn't go near you with a 10 foot poll, Hustlin.
