Anyone having problems with hostgator?

All my sites are down and Cpanle as well!

i have few sites on them but it's up..

Hostgator is owned by EIG, I wouldn't touch them with a 100 ft pole

That's obviously not an exhaustive list of shitty hosts but it's certainly a starting point.

Avoid hostgator like the plague! Surprised they are still going!

Sorry to hear your sites are down, we we're with hostgator, my partner said they we're always asking us about our resource usage.

I gave them a chance a couple of years ago. After two weeks, they admitted that they were just not up to the task of migrating my stuff to their server.

What kind of plans you have at hostgator? Shared, VPS, dedi? Do you manage them yourself?

do you contact support and what did they say?

I've been with HostGator for 7 years. The last 2 years their wait times have gone from 3 minutes to 30min to an 1hour.

Other than that. Their support is great. They usually are good with helping me install things/glitches on my websites.

But i am preparing to move to a new host. The wait times are ridiculous and once you get into the dedicated servers they are over priced.

Thank you HostGator for a great 7 years but it's time to move on

dreamhost is not EIG

HG overselling as usual? get cheap dedicated server. Can't be that expensive these days.

Does anyone know if EIG is moving HG to their Provo, Utach data center? EIG/Bluehost just had infrastructure outages there. Has anyone tried Liquid Web in Michigan? I know a few adult sites hosted there.
