so whos the best hosts around at the moment, don't get stuck in 2006 and say what you did then, shit has changed for alot of these hosting companies have lost staff and gained staff ( and maybe not as good )

For me is M3servers. Pretty awesome

I have been with webair for many years. They get a lot of shit here and sometimes they have messed up but in the long run they have been a good stable host for me.

I use asmallorange right now for my smaller projects - their administration-backup is extremely awesome.
This is my 4th hosting service and I have never seen such a sophisticated panel, where _everything_ works

Tho it is shared hosting with a good price. Never touched dedicated there.

I've gone through many hosts over the last 17 years and I can't fault my current one which is CERTIFIED HOSTING. I'm talking dedicated here, great value packages and the support is excellent.

I started using them because my 2006 host started taking a shit on me. Actually, they always did, but it was 2006 and everyone shit on you.

Main differences are always on customer service. Create a ticket and it gets resolved in minutes. Weekends, holidays, whenever. They rock on customer service.

They created their own stripped down versions of Linux and they are rock solid. Downtime is a rarity. They installed many things that aren't supposed to work together. Nobody else could.

Lots of class c ip's and new ip's are only fifty cents each. Awesome host!
