This is the first fake domain renewal notice that I received.


As a courtesy to the domain name holder the INTERNET DOMAIN REGISTRATION CORPORATION is hereby notifying you that this is your FINAL NOTICE to submit your renewal registration for: tightebony.com

Failure to complete your domain name renewal registration by the expiration date may result in CANCELLATION of your domain, therefore making it difficult for your customers to locate your website on the Internet.

I checked my whois and I registered the DN a couple of months ago and the $3 gave it away.

Just thought GFYer's should know.

Know what?Unless it coming from registar where you registered it,it's a fake.

I get them all the time, just hit the delete button.

You just don't fall on that, nothing new

I got one of those last week. It looked very real, but my only registrar is NameCheap, so I knew it had to be phishing, and I deleted it. I wonder how many people would fall for something like that.

looks like cheap scammer, last time i received such mail, they were asking 149 bucks for renewal. wtf.
