To cover all the blood from my bleeding heel I used some blue chalk to match the shoe... Dental floss is really strong and the sugar coating adds strength to the sewing... I have very large ankles and achilles tendon so I have to usually cut up shoes to fit me. Addidas, Nike are way too narrow, the cut of new balance doesn't work for me -- so I'm basically a tried and true Saucony guy since back in the Jazz...
