Strongbox and Wordpress
Is it possible to run wordpress as CMS for members area protected by Strongbox?
Because Strongbox creates random subdomains eg. sbvasdaofcd.domainname.com the Wordpress URL is also different every time I log in. I tried to get some info from Strongbox support guys but they never answered (their website says Strongbox is compatible with Wordpress but no specific info). Anyone has experience with such setup? |
It works fine, no problems at all.

I want to know how easy it is to move strongbox to another url. If you do get an answer from another email address, post the best way to get hold of them please :thumbsup

In my experience they answer email the same day. Elias Torres is a great guy.

The "sbvasdaofcd" you mentioned is called a newton and it's not a subdomain, rather a security feature that changes per login. |
Which version of Strongbox do you use with Wordpress? I still use the previous one, could this be the reason?
|
I've used WP with the last 2 or 3 versions of SB without issues.

works fine, what you may find though is when the user is logged into the member area, some themes won't navigate correctly until the member navigates to 'home' and the cbnfjhskdhidh part gets removed.
Aside from that small bug, you shouldn't have any problems at all. |
I still haven't got any reply from Strongbox support. I know strongbox is good but it's not good enough if I can't get any reply from their support for weeks. Ans I need this Wordpress to work.
Can you recommend any other members area protection software ? |
