MarkTiarra 03-12-2003 01:45 AM

Tony Robbins I have found to be one of the most inspirational people on the planet. Just hearing his voice gets me energized. He has very real and very good methods for pushing past pyschological blocks you have and other various elements.

Do yourself a favor, get the program and do it with passion.

Cheeba Filas 03-28-2003 03:19 PM

Well thank's guy's I started Anthony Robbins Program yesterday and it rocks. Man I could listen to that guy all day. Hell I went to sleep with it in the CD player last night so I could get all in. His Get The Edge Program is HOTT!!!!

If you don't have it get it. I feel it will inspire you as it has me.

Turboface 03-28-2003 03:21 PM

He kind of is, but the material he talks about is really interesting, and somewhat useful, if you apply it. Dunno about the new program, but the old 30 day program has some really cool stuff in it.

I have nightmares about those teeth though!

:thumbsup :thumbsup

I've read a good bit of his material, been to one of his seminars, walked on the coals, etc and it was a BLAST!

He has a very interested spin on NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) which he changed up and renamed Neuro Associative Conditioning...

Ok, basically that's just big fancy words for psych-stuff that is REALLY effective!

If you buy his stuff, seriously follow it all the way through and do the actions... It's a great ride...

JeremySF 04-02-2003 01:24 AM

You can download all of his shit through Kazaa. Yeah, he's pretty good.

Before I started listening to him I was peddling porn....

wait a sec, I'm still doing that.

gothweb 04-02-2003 01:25 AM

Isn't Tony Robins the guy who played Baldrick on Blackadder, and now hosts Time Team?

Have you met Richard Simmons? He's pretty inspirational too...

stocktrader23 04-02-2003 01:39 AM

I always assumed self-help meant you did it by yourself?

eroswebmaster 04-02-2003 03:49 AM

Had a friend of mine working at a new age trade show back in like 1989 in Los Angeles selling some guys new Ginger Brew drink...anyway...I was walking around looking at all the booths and looking for my friend only to find him sitting there and talking to Robbins who was there as a guest speaker.

I'm only 5' 6 3/4" and my friend is like 6' 1" maybe 6' 2" and this Robbins guy was fucking huge.

His hand when I shook it just enveloped mine...his jaw structure seemed like it was bigger than my whole damn head...and the funny thing...is the guys he had hanging with him his "entourage," all looked the same...like a bunch of steroid freaks suffering from some kind of giant disease.

I have to agree, he really is an amazing man!!

Congrats on the program and keep us posted!

dennisthemenace 04-02-2003 10:37 AM

Tony Robbins is great but sometimes his point gets missed due to him using 50 cent words.

Napoleon Hill is great.

Zig Ziglar is good but kinda corny

Brian Tracy is VERY good but sounds kinda gay.

I like the things on CD better than books.

Most of the things I've bought that are in 6+ CD sets are REALLY good.

PornDaddy 04-02-2003 10:55 AM

I have Personal Power 2
My wife and I went through the whole thing.
I quit my job and started doing porn, and she got a promotion.
We think it was the best investment we ever made.

LOL well I guess that would make you feel strong and happy for a short while at least :)

I've read one of his books and seen him on tv a few times....I think a seminar would be cool if you can block out alot of the generic hype that's included in his work. Overall I'd say he has some good things to say.

Ice 04-02-2003 01:38 PM

Anthony Robbins is a tall fucker. Like 6'7" or something... did you see him in "Shallow Hal" ... oh wait .... Gwyneth was in that too....mmmmmm Gwyneth

LOL, haha... That was Tony Robinson. Blackadder is fantastic. It's my second favorite British comedy behind Fawlty Towers. The first two Blackadder series' were pure genius.

If you get a chance to listen to Rowan Atkinson's standup/sketch, it's awesome. Find the "School headmaster" routine.
