It's a Shuttle SFF (small form factor), measures 200(w) x 181(h) x 280(d)mm - which is pretty damn tiny for a computer case. Check the pics:

I'll eventually dual boot :thumbsup

iroc409 03-12-2003 12:22 AM

too bad it's not faster, that would work too. just need something with a sb16 compliant soundcard and a cdrom. well, video and networking.

but, was looking more in the 1.5-2.0 range (amd, of course)

tiny=good. i have too many big computers.

why?

i assume you were meaning ealier then that it's not a hardware issue with *nix, you just don't want it on there. i'd love a *nix workstation like that, my windows boxes have too much crap in them.

X37375787 03-12-2003 12:25 AM

I'm telling ya, the SFFs are hot hot hot. They're slightly slower than full size PCs, but the difference is negligible.

The Shuttles are very silent, the heatpipe and the 80mm fan do the cooling job ~ very nice piece.

sounds like something i might look into. looking at streamlining my desk and stuff, with 3 pcs. would be very nice to have something that small to stick in as part of my setup.

the other two will probably be in the lian-li pc-6070. those are sweet cases, with soundproofing :)

Lian Lis are nice, but fairly expensive.... :2 cents:
