I wonder how many new people are using WSB now?
 

With all this attention they're getting, I bet a shitload of people are signed up or signing up to use them. Even bad press can be good coverage. And damn, they sure got a lotta bad press lately :1orglaugh

well, they lost three customers this week that i know of... the shortened checks did not settle well w/ my unfortunate friends who used WSB... if seeing press about people not getting paid is garnering signup's for WSB, then i am *definitely* in the wrong business..!

It happened for iBill when they weren't paying, I'm sure it's happening for WSB too. Couldn't believe people were actually signing up for iBill while they weren't paying out.

They probably are getting more clients from the bad press just as Ibill did.

I can tell you for a fact that we would never process theird party again after having our own merchant account. Our processor makes us smile every day when we see our deposits in our bank account.

You can add 2 more to that list.... the webmaster who owns the program that uses WSB that I promote just emailed me to say he's pulling his program out and moving to a new processor.

Come to think of it, if you include all his affiliate webmasters then you can probably add a few dozen to the list.




Why anyone would sign up with a company that is having such difficulty paying it's clientelle is beyond me. In some cases, bad press = bad press.

There are tons of people signing up with them. Not necessarily because of the bad press-- just because they don't know what's going on!
