    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Titcoin Founder to Speak at Webmaster Access

(New York, NY) Gizmodo has dubbed Titcoin the ?Bitcoin for Porn?, and they are quickly becoming the go-to crypto currency in adult. This week, founder Edward Mansfield is not only attending AVN?s Webmaster Access in Amsterdam, but he?ll also be on the Crypto Currencies panel along with Hustler?s President Michael Klein, GoCoin?s Eric Benz, and AVN European Director of Business Development Moe Levine with Gamelink VP Jeff Dillion moderating. Taking place on Sunday, September 21st at 11am at the Business Track, the one-hour seminar will give attendees a look at which digital currencies are gaining popularity and the current state of Bitcoin.

?I?m honored that AVN asked me to be on the panel,? says Edward Mansfield. ?But, I?m even more excited that there is a panel on this topic, because it means digital currency is going to play a key role in adult. This will be a good chance to discuss cyrpto currency with a whole new audience and get more people on board using Titcoin.?

While at Webmaster Access, Edward will be taking meetings. If you would like to find out more about digital currency and taking Titcoin as a payment for your product or website, set up a meeting by emailing him at [email protected].

Webmaster Access runs Friday, September 19th through Monday, September 22nd and is the biggest webmaster show in Europe. To find out more about attendees, seminars and social events, visit http://www.webmasteraccess.com.

Media inquiries about Titcoin should be directed to Erika Icon of The Rub PR at [email protected].

    ABOUT TITCOIN
Launched in June of 2014, Titcoin is digital currency designed specifically for the 10 billion dollar adult industry. Like Bitcoin, it is a crypto currency that allows anonymity and privacy for the users. Online sites can garner more business since it allows customers to make purchases without a credit card or bank account, and their profits are protected since there are no chargebacks. And unlike most other crypto currencies, Titcoin has exponentially speedier transactions?you get your money in under six minutes, without any unnecessary waiting.

Edward Mansfield, a digital media and online advertising guru with 20 years of experience, and Richard Allen, who has 25 solid years as a mastermind of business development, both founded Titcoin. Titcoin has been profiled in Men?sHealth Magazine, Vice Magazine, Gizmodo, Bustle, Soundcrave, AVN, and XBIZ.

They may have a catchy name and a sexy logo, but their goal is to be the go-to for the adult industry for digital currency. Get your wallet and start using Titcoin today by going to http://www.titcoins.biz or http://www.titcoin.xxx. Keep up with their ever-growing empire by following them on Twitter at @OfficialTitcoin and liking them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/titcoin.

Sheesh, right? Crypto as a currency was a proof-of-concept for the important stuff that's happening now ... i.e., the stuff that is built on top of the protocol, and has nothing to do with the coins as financial instruments.

So you are saying that knowledge, support, purchasing of digital currencies is not valuable then? I mean, with the 'sheesh' and all, it sounds like you know something everyone else doesn't. Do share

It won't work in adult even more so imho... for someone to actually figure out and use cryptocurrencies they have to be relatively familiar with computers and technology. Take my mechanic - about 40 years old, uses computer every day for emailing and buying car parts online - but if I told him to buy something using bitcoin or titcoins he wouldn't know where the start. If someone is tech savvy enough to know how to get and use cryptocurrencies, they are tech savvy enough to know where to find all the free porn they need...

I really hope we have some attendees at WMA who will stand up and ask these questions and discuss this to make the seminar realize it's full potential.

              And I'm not being sarcastic.

I don't think it's knowledge that's specific to me .. plenty of companies are gearing up to use the blockchain for ideas ranging from software licensing to contract mediation. The current use (as a speculative investment vehicle) isn't sustainable, or particularly interesting, despite how much money I've been able to collect from it.

As far as financial plays go, the biggest opportunity on that side is the remittance market. In some trading pairs, the fees can be as high as 21% just to send money back to your home country -- disgusting.

If you look at the adoption rate of digital currencies, it's surprisingly anemic to date. Bitcoin's total market capitalization as of this second is $5,666,392,136. Its trailing 24-hour trade volume is $26,993,600. These numbers are so small, when compared to the global financial markets, as to be completely irrelevant. Niche markets? Sure. Broad adoption as a primary currency in the next five years? No. It's a longer-term play with some serious hurdles.

From my perspective (and the perspective of Silicon Valley, where I am deeply plugged in), the play is services on top of the blockchain.

SexCoin, PornCoin and a ton of other adult themed altcoins have came and went. What makes titcoin so impressive? Nothing. It's just a clone. And starting a new coin with SHA256 in today's market is stupidity.

I'll stick with Bitcoin and Litecoin. Titcoin will be good for one thing and one thing only. Making the creator money. I'm sure this coin was premined to death..

Right, but you have to remember the market you're addressing. Adult is trailing several years behind at a minimum from the mainstream ... and any new technology adoption is going to come from the perspective of "me only, fuck everyone else" in most cases. Creating win-win propositions is not this industry's strong point.

Sure, but that train is a Fisher Price locomotive ... just because it'd be on everyone's WordPress blog doesn't mean anyone would want to USE it. There's not much of a market pain point being addressed here.

How are purchases tracked/reported with crypto currencies? Is there a valid way to determine how much has actually been utilized for what? The idea is that purchases are anonymous right? So I'm curious as to how to find out real data on digital currency spent on adult, underground drugs, etc.

GoCoin has a relateively simple interface to implement it- and webmasters haven't jumped. We implemented it on one cam site, where i very much doubt the owner has even come close to breaking even on what it cost for us to integrate it. I haven't heard of many implementing crypto payments at all. I remember someone from a popular paysite posting that adding btc option to their join form actually reduced joins.

Porn is an impulse buy. Guy's pull out thier credit cards dick-in-hand. No one is going to sit there for 3 days waiting while the crypto-marketplace they chose to buy btc at funds their account with their money, then figure out the interface, buy some btc, figure out how to sen it to another wallet, and then finally wait 20 minutes for the payment to verify...and they even more-so aren't going to want to sell that BTC after they heard "some guy sold 20k of them for a pizza and would have had like $50mil now!"

I agree with bigtymer here, this titcoin thing is just like any of the thousands and thousands of crypto clones there are out there, and I wouldn't be surprised if a ton was pre-mined and the creator is hoping it takes off/promoting it in order to sell of his stash when it's actually worth something. That's how most of these clone coins work to begin with.

The idea that crypto transactions (or at least Bitcoin transactions) are anonymous is a pretty big misconception, in fact EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION on the blockchain can be viewed publicly. The anonymity comes in the fact that unless you disclose your Bitcoin address, no one necessarily knows the individuals involved in any transaction.

                                      From Blockchain.info's FAQs

The blockchain is a public ledger of all transactions in the Bitcoin network. Blockchain.info allows you to navigate the bitcoin blockchain.

One huge issue is that there's no need to brand the currencies. If any coin was going to be used in adult, it would be Bitcoin by virtue of its size and availability.

There are distinct advantages to an adult-branded services such as coding, SEO, payment processing, etc. because knowing the industry is advantageous. For an open source concept with no central authority? Do me a favor.

I don't see what Titcoin does that Bitcoin doesn't. That's the crux of the issue here: it's an adult-focused concept without bringing anything new to the table.

I can make a case for .xxx domain names because .com is saturated. I can make a case for using an adult coder because the membership model is something they've likely done before. I can make a case for an adult-focused processor because of the legal side of things and the fact that they openly allow porn.

Can anyone point out what Titcoin provides to a webmaster that Bitcoin didn't already?

Good point. Was more trying to point out that transactions can be tracked. So, to answer myjah's question, if a merchant said "Hey, you never sent us any bitcoins so we're not providing you a service" that can be easily contended by the customer, the transaction is logged and the register is publicly accessible.

The anonymity factor can complicate things a bit, but in all likelihood, bad actors will get called out as such by the community.

Throw in the fact that businesses for the most part are using processing companies to accept Bitcoin payments, and anonymity (and deniability with it) kind of goes out the window.

                                                      Hey that's me
So in nearly 2 months I got one guy who purchased total $140 in pieces of $20 every a few days. Except this guy a $50 from another in 2 pieces, and some $50 from all ther small guys combined. Consider 50% goes to the cam girl, no I think I didn't break even yet - and I was lucky for that $140 "coin whale" really, he uses litecoin btw - I posted in a few coin forums and got a few replies there.
