we have solid leads on 6 domains so far, thank you

Roald 09-16-2014 01:06 AM

Why don't you sort the names alphabetically and then post the image?

This is just annoying to go through.

XPays 09-16-2014 01:08 AM

sorry that is bothering you Roald. they are sorted by price right now and you can load them alphabetically with this link https://www.huntingmoon.com/tag/WMA2...IXHeadLine_ASC

there's 48.5k in offers received today behind the scenes in the first 12 hrs since launch, so it's looking promising as far as successful bids go

So that bid counter is "not working"? Or are those offers bellow reserve and that is why they are just offers and not bids?

XPays 09-17-2014 12:05 AM

Here are some of my picks for investors to consider:

1) Dating Network 'SexDateCash' (NDA Required) Includes Revenue, Members, Sites, Domains. The Reserve is a reasonable multiple of monthly net revenue.

2) BREASTS.COM At only $100k an empire is waiting to start on this category-killer domain name.

3) iSEX.com 4 letter "i"domain with the most common keyword in the adult world. 'nuff said.

4) LARGER.COM Under $10k Dictionary Word Domain.

mineistaken 09-17-2014 04:46 AM

Hi, could you clarify that thing? For example I want to bid on one domain, I see 0 bids (as on ALL the domains), but you claim that you got many offers. How can I know if I should bid on that domain or if it is already had offers higher than starting bid etc?

I do not mean any negative, just genuinely seems confusing - not visible bids somewhere and you can not know what to bis, since all domains do not show any bids...

jrzeygirl 09-17-2014 08:43 AM

Good Luck Evan!!!

XPays 09-17-2014 10:48 AM

mineistaken: Offers means people requested package deals or made reserve reduction requests. Why would that stop you from bidding- To Bid, Simply BID. thank you. feel free to request support over email or phone if you are still confused.

I wish man- this is my favorite event of the year every year, however I will have to wait until next year to attend.

Also, we have a confirmed Bid on CosplayPorno.com https://www.huntingmoon.com/assets/1...Auction_Domain -- Good luck to the Bidder and Seller!

Lets say I bid on a domain (seeing there is 0 bids) and think that I am a happy winner while not knowing that somewhere else somebody offered the same or even higher price for that domain.
I think you understand where I am coming from - not knowing what other bidder might have offered.
Lets say you offer 500 and somebody offers 600 (and you do not know this bid). You lose the name to that guy, even if you might have offered 700 (but you simply did not know that "private" 600 bid existed).

Again - no disrespect meant, just expressing some concerns :)

Thanks for clarifying and your concerns are a nonissue fortunately. You can only bid successful bids- they have to meet reserve and be higher than the current high bidder. Also, we have an anti-snipe feature that adds time to the end of contested auctions. You will never get sniped if you are available on Oct 1 at 4:20 PM ET to compete with other bidders. So, your worries not something that could happen and you can Bid Bid Bid without fear.

No no, I meant what if I bid on a domain and that domain has an "offer" that I do not know of (the offer that is not showing as a bid).
You said that you had total offers of 48K USD, yet there was total of 0 bids on all of the domains. Meaning that we do not see any of those bids you have.

Imagine situation: I bid on 500$ domain. How do I know if somebody did not offer 600$ on that domain already? If you do not register those as bids and they are in no way displayed on the site?

UNLESS by offers you mean that ALL of the offers are/were LOWER than starting prices.

XPays 09-17-2014 05:31 PM

Your Bid trumps anyone who hasn't bid. Once a bid is placed, there is no way for a below reserve offer to be approved by a seller.

XPays 09-17-2014 05:37 PM

you have to be verified to bid too, so it's not like some anon fake freehosted email address sleaze is going to mess with you. HuntingMoon is a safe platform- always has been - always will be!

Ok, so when you said you had 48K usd worth of offers you meant that ALL those offers were bellow reserve price?

I was worried about a situation:
xyz.com domain, reserve price 500$. Yet lets say you had an offer of 550$ (among those 48.000 $).
So I would bid 500$ yet you would have that offer of 550$ and I could not know that because it would not show up.

If you confirmed that ALL the 48K offers were bellow reserve price offers
everything would be clear.

Auction basics. You bid, you wait. If nobody else bids, you win. If somebody else outbids you, you either bid again or lose (repeat until auction closes). Assuming that the winning bid is over any reserve of course.

As for there being no bids showing at the moment. This is not unusual. Most auction activity happens as the end approaches. Placing an early bid draws attention to a domain and puts more eyes and interest on it than a shrewd buyer might want.

As for Evan's "offers", I imagine that these are from people who have seen a domain they like but don't like the high starting price in the system. I think I said before that his system would be better if it had a "make an offer" button for domains without any registered bids at the official starting price which is often in my opinion a little "optimistic" :)

The "make an offer" button opens a dialogue between buyer and seller (through Evan) to see if they can find a number the both find acceptable.

Lol, I am not a noob, thanks for explaining auction basics I already knew back in 1998 :)

That was the whole point of my concern - was it possible that someone made an offer MATCHING RESERVE PRICE OR HIGHER. And that offer was not converted into visible bid because it was not made via "bidding process" but rather by email/phone etc.

If Op confirmed that ALL OFFERS totaling those 48.000$ were BELLOW reserve price then all my concerns would vanish immediately.

I have asked this three times already and since it was not confirmed I am still asking to be sure :)

I can not put it more clear than that ^.

Just like EBay, you bid the highest amount you want to pay, I would assume....

Anyway I forgot to send in my domains... :(

Mutt 09-20-2014 12:24 PM

The green price on the right side of the listings is the 'starting price' the domain owner set?

Some great domains but as usual a bunch of the porn name owners are simply delusional - this industry is shrinking fast, if I owned a good adult domain name I'd take what I could get now.

Relentless 09-20-2014 02:05 PM

Footlong.com seems like something someone should approach Subway about ;)

some of the prices are phenomenal and some are just barely rational - i agree. hopefully the overall quality takes over and people can source new site names and investments here like usual.
