Why are Paxum fees so expensive?
Funded my Paxum account 5211965032 for $1000
Paxum took $50 for that. Why? |

It's a lot, 2% should be maximum.
|
I must add that I used a Credit Card to fund my account.
So to fund $1000 paxum took $50 It's not even a bank wire where you have to pay some fees. So WTF? |
You did't check paxum fees chart, before sending?
https://www.paxum.com/payment/fees.p...views/fees.xsl Loading Funds By Credit Card 4.95% + $0.50 |

They have to pay a processing fee to run your card, why should they pay that for you? You've been in this industry longer than I have, I am sure you don't think when you pay a merchant $1,000 with a credit card, that the merchant collects $1,000.

And I still pay all the transfer fees. |
Are you stupid? Sending a wire is cheaper or free.
Processing credit cards has a 3%+ fee plus gateway fees etc. Someone has obviously never dealt with any transaction processing before. |

Loading funds by ACH is only $5, not sure if that's an option for you but it sounds like it's worth looking into. |
Thanks for sharing the info John :)
Marcus, as has been mentioned in this thread (thanks for the link seeandsee), Paxum offers various methods to add funds to your account. Wire is $50 USD and the funds are usually delivered within 1-2 business days External Credit Card is 4.95% + $0.50, with a daily limit of $1,000. Funds are added instantly Add funds by Check/Money Order is $25 USD for business clients, and $5 for personal clients. Add funds by ACH is $5 USD with a $2,500 USD daily transaction limit. This option is only available to US based customers at this time. If you process your sites with Epoch or Segpay, both companies offer instant payout with Paxum. Talk to your Epoch or Segpay rep for more details. Thanks for choosing to use Paxum! :thumbsup |

It's still expensive. If we take a $3000 account fund, then: Wire = $40 fee from my bank to send it, $30 from your bank to credit it to you, $50 Paxum fee. Total: $120 Credit Card seems even more expensive (there is also a $1000 transaction limit, wtf?) I guess I will have to keep Paxum use to a minimum. Funding several times a month ads up. |

If I was doing 1000 at a time I wouldn't bother. If you are not a business owner and are just using it to get paid, then let your sponsors worry about funding it. |

What kind of business are you in? Are you using it for affiliate payouts or something different? I thought Paxum was more popular so I never bothered to hook up Payoneer. |
