I knew those starbucks guys and gals were fucking with me lmao. Good post.

I always figured it was just a statement on the pathetic educational system we have nowadays.

But I wouldn't be surprised if some idiot Generation X parent spells Jessica as Gessika. They think they've created something unique that will get their kid ahead in life, but instead she will spend a large chunk of time saying "no, it's spelled G ... E ... S....S...I....K...A....."

I knew this girl in high school, her name was pronounced "Raven," but her fucking idiot mom spelled it R-A-V-A-N-E. She spent so much time (and got so frustrated) having to explain that it wasn't pronounced "ray-vane."

I worked with a girl named "Keight". She was exactly the way you'd expect.
