I think that the dudes died for Islam (religion), not particularly for some country. So, it's more like a religion day.

I know that you meant US patriot day, but I don't get how that day is patriotic, even remotely.

In the United States, Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance,[1] occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the 2,977 killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks.

Hence, it is not associated with any religion, but simply a day of memorial for every life that was lost in the incident.

Okay, you call it patriot day. We too have that kind of day, but it is about celebrating our independence and our accomplishes keeping it.

Some Muslims may disagree with that religion part. You are not the only ones to remember that day. Elsewhere it might be "Victory from the great Satan day".

who gives a fuck what it's called, call it fucking never fucking forget this fucking day day, it makes zero difference, 3000 people died in that attack, and shit changed for all Americans on 9/11.

I've been watching the replay of the Today show coverage all morning, and as someone who knows the exact times of all of the significant events -- I got a really icky feeling right before each thing happened.

By the way, the NBC had the camera pointing in the wrong direction every time something happened. The second plane hitting, the first and second building collapse. Every time.

Crazy that its been 13 yrs already. I remember it like yesterday, driving to the studio in a daze because of what I had just seen on tv.
