TGP's with no common sense
 

The incompetence within this business by some people never ceases to amaze me.....

The email confirm process with TGP's is absolutely useless unless the gallery URL is actually mentioned in the confirm email.

The whole point seems to be to keep cheaters from submitting galleries using your email address. But this process can be flawed if not done properly.

For instance, earlier on I got two confirm submission e-mails. It's been a few days since I last submitted anything, and these confirm emails don't say what the gallery address is.

So do I confirm it on the chance that someone's hahahahahaha is behind, or do I not confirm because a cheater is using known email addys of non-cheating submitters?

If the gallery address had been printed in the email, I'd know for sure.

You need to think a little more

What does he need to think about? URLs in the email wouldn't hurt anything. What, they don't want to link to porn in case the email goes to someone "innocent"? Bullshit, most of them link right to their own porn site in the email and even if they don't, their URL is in the confirm link.

The gallery confirm process usually gives the TGP owner a chance to plop a confirm link in between adverts you have to skim through.

Unless you've got an auto confirmer. Wonder if TGPs will ever try to take a stance against autoconfirmers?
