Biological Behaviors Suck!

When I was in my 20s I had friends everywhere. I literally was out 6 days a week. I never ate dinner alone. There was a group of 20 of us. I am close to 40 now and the friend pool has defiantly dried up. I am pretty sure this is natures way of making sure plenty of people are around when you are ripe for reproduction. When you are a female of 35 your pregnancies become high risk. Meaning your womb is close to being condemned. Everyone I know is cynical as hell and thinks 90% of the human population isn't worth the iron in their blood. Maybe Im wrong. Any Takers?

ilnjscb 09-03-2014 06:19 AM

rich people aren't that way

What region do you live in? That affects it. Some places are friendlier than others. In Manhattan, 40 is nothing, people still make friends easily and quickly if you like to go out. In some other cities, everyone is at home watching sitcoms and trying not to off themselves for another day.

Be thankful you don't have a penis making most of your decisions for you.

That makes sense only if you fucked with your friends.

I don't know about that cynical as hell. Maybe your women friends are disappointed to that all their dreams about the "perfect" life didn't come to true? I have noticed that some women have unrealistic expectations and when some mosquito bites them on honeymoon "Life is ruined". You know, mosquitos don't bite on perfect honeymoons.

BlackCrayon 09-03-2014 06:40 AM

if you're hot you go to any club and have any number of douchebags who will "talk" to you.

While I do like the younger ones I like some condemned womb as well. At least then you can get it all messy and not have to worry about an 18+yr note spoiling the fun.

And what is wrong with dry poo?
Would seem easier to "pick up".

I understand, however just think of me as a 'somewhat slow' 4 or 5 year old...

Translation? I enjoy repetition :(

The friend poo has dried up... I wasn't referring to your repetitive shtick. I actually respect you. :thumbsup:pimp

I've discovered that life goes through stages, and you are hitting middle age.

Middle aged people are busy. They are married, have decent jobs that keep them busy, chores at home, hobbies, and children. All of the above keeps them busy and doesn't leave much time for "hanging out". Single people - and people without kids - are always looking for something to do, always on the go.

I have a handful of local friends, and we get together every so often. I also enjoy my cycling with group rides, and have friends there.

it's geo-problem in my case. from my group (around 15 ppl) and we were very close, playing RPGs (paper and dice not shooting rockets) literally every day there is one guy left in my town + me. two idiots that didn't left poland yet, all the rest fucked off from this hostile country long ago, living in uk, ireland, spain etc...

other problem is living, you have to work, pay your bills not that much time to socialize like before. as for age i prefer 30+ women more than younger ones that are in 99% very stupid, so not an issue here for me (i'm 39) and 35 sounds perfect ;)

true fact right there. most women think that's just a joke (the statement, not my penis :upsidedow ) and have no idea how much that happens. A bit like their PMT makes them totally irrational (though 95% of women deny this fact), a penis also makes us men irrational. Mine gets me into trouble all the fucking time :Oh crap

ETA:

Also, all single women over 30 are nuts... no offence intended, honestly. Like was said earlier - completely unrealistic expectations, a mad need to be 'with' someone and in a relationship (again, not all but the majority) - so I guess really it's a good thing guys do think with their penis, else no single people aged 30 or over would ever fuck :1orglaugh

I have done decent in life. I have friends that are special and have stuck around for a long period of time. I have to agree with you. I am busy and when I have free time I tend to not want to spend it the same way I did when i was 20.

Not I or My "women friends" are worried about misquitos on honeymoon. i worry about if i oiled my 1911 or not. I'm sorry some girl hurt your feelings and didn't call after using your mouth as an amusement park. Maybe you and your boys will have better luck next round.

Any takers for what? 35 is young. Be the cougar or whatever you want to call yourself, but do call yourself something fun and then spread it around. Catch more with honey and all that. If people around you are being cynical and you don't like it, then change people. Be the one who brings it. Any takers?

Jeez people sure have made a whole lot of assumptions. I am probably to blame for part of this. I am better looking now then i was when i was in my 20s. Smarter for sure and i have defiantly figured out what my value is. My journey here was interesting for sure. I was really trying to get anyones thoughts on our biology and how it plays a part in our behaviors. I don't think my thread was as clear. I came off as a cat lady who has no male attention. that is defiantly not the case. I have plenty of takers in that area. Does anyone have anything to offer on our scientific behaviors relating to age? Does anyone believe this is the young taking over the old? the human version to how primates take over?

At first I thought this remark was in left field...but you know what... you're absolutely right!

They have the means for entertainment and the income to afford lavish activities. I do notice that wealthy people have more parties, get-togethers, powersports fun and vacation homes where friends love to visit them often.

I find myself growing more and more frustrated with how little I get out of the house. I recently went 3 weeks with only going as far as mailbox and grocery store next door. Then, I concluded that all the guys were out on their ATVs & SideBySides all summer heh. No wonder they weren't at the man-cave at all this summer haha. That won't be a problem next summer tho.. hoping to pick up a working project wheeler this weekend for the wife and I to get out together next summer after her recovery and get muddy haha

aka123 09-04-2014 12:03 PM

After complete analysis, my "Doctor who" advice is: as it's not too late, get pregnant and over it.

Get bitten by mosquitos on your honeymoon. If the problem isn't mosquite bites on honeymoon, it must be lack of it. Same to your friends. At least men don't get any happier without fulfilling their biological needs.

Tom_PM 09-04-2014 12:09 PM

Well, the phrase "old people smell" exists for a reason.

First, best wishes for her recovery;

Second, that is it exactly. When you don't have dough you get slapped down a lot. You get a pavlovian reaction to dreaming and impulses. "That will probably fail" or "I shouldn't waste the money" etc. With the dough in the picture, you can do things right and impulses become risk free and attainable. To OPs point, risk is less welcome at older ages, as far as I can see. Less happy-go-lucky, that leads to less ability to attach quickly, which leads to less social opportunity, which leads to duller but safer life.

You have an insecurity when it comes to women point blank. Its in everything you write. You are angry and insult women online you don't know cause you think everyone will think you are Mr. Cool. The thing is if you know what you are looking for then its easy to pin point. you still have some adolescent issues you have not worked out. I suggest you do. Its not that big of a deal that you weren't one of the cool kids. You still haven't worked out your boyhood sexual frustrations. Its not to late my friend. you run your mouth online behind your computer but when you are forced to interact in real life you wouldn't dare.
you are an online chauvinist but spineless in the flesh.

You take some honest and straightforward answers quite badly. Also, I am like this in real life too, though maybe a bit more polite/ politician, but I like to be as straightforward as possible.

There wasn't even any mean tone in my answer, at least I didn't meant to have if there was. But you are plainly mean.

NikKay 09-10-2014 05:53 AM

Most people in their 20's don't have the same responsibilities as people in their 30's and 40's... jobs are less stressful, no marriage, no kids, plus you can party all night and still function the next day. It's as simple as that, IMHO.

I had kids at a very young age so now I'm 35 and have money and more free time; meanwhile my friend group has dried up due to marriages and toddlers and household chores and normal jobs that just barely cover the expenses of marriages and toddlers and maintaining houses.

Definitely depends on where you live but I haven't had much of a problem meeting new people to hang out with.
