No they didn't.. They started off in Iraq in 2004 went to Syria after a falling out with Al Qaeda and the start of the civil war there. They are now fighting in both countries, but they have been around for some time now. It's only uninformed that depend on the big media outlets to spoon feed them, that think these guys just came out of nowhere. They were fighting under the Al-Qaeda banner, until they became too extreme and splintered off to form ISIS.

It's not a new group, just the same rag heads with more organized leadership and a new name.

If they could, they would. I don't believe they will. It's not a civilized area like Gaza where IDF had to alert before every airstrike. It's would be a war zone with basically no limits and we would wipe them off the border within few hours.

They can and they will. Syria borders Israel, and the terrorists just took over that region of Syria. The terrorists are now sitting on the border of Israel. They just chased UN troops from Syria into Israel.

That's correct, they do. Our gov. informed all the citizens not to get any close to the borders meanwhile (there are lots of tourists attractions there), but let's get in to proportions, they are just few hundreds of ak/rpg/atms armed extremists, they do not own any advanced weapons, and IDF won't have it hands cuffed like it's was in Gaza, we will vaporize all the border region in matter of hours and the ISIS knows it, that's the only reason they still didn't attacked us.

And they don't hide in Hospitals and schools :)

Actually they don't hate Israel any more than they hate the other govt's they are fighting. Their goal is to erase the Western made boarders of the Middle East and create a single Islamic State, so each country's govt is just the same to them. These guys are well organized and funded by immediately placing their territories under Sharia Law and taking over all govt functions, including collecting taxes. They actually have been forcing the Syrian govt to buy electricity from them due to taking over key power plants.

This is why they were trying to capture that big ass dam in Iraq. It wasn't to blow it up and wipe out Bagdad as the media claimed. It was to control the power generation for Bagdad in order to force the Iraq govt to fund them by buying power form them. If they wanted to blow up the dam to flood the area they had plenty of them to do it.

As fas as Israel goes, they are on the same list as Syria, Iraq, Saudi, ect..ect.. They are all targets to be brought under a single state controlled by IS. This is a much more dangerous war than Russia vs Ukraine.

Well I think it's pretty clear we see them as a big enough threat to make deals with Assad in Syria and that they are willing to work with us. That's a pretty big sign that everyone understands how serious a threat these guys are.
