I looked through some of his stuff and fail to see his shots as artistic or just taking pics of his kids. While I think it is fucking stupid for people to be charged for taking pics of their kids in the tub, I can see why people might have issues with some of the shots.

I definitely agree that his is exploiting his daughter and I can't wait to read about it in another 15 years.

I checked out his instagram online and saw his non daughter related stuff, he has a great eye.

I watched the clip in the OP. He knows exactly what he's trying to convey to people with the POV shots of his daughter between his legs in the bathtub and all the other "outside the box" naked daughter shots.

He's definitely trying to get attention. With all the attention he's gotten I wont be surprised if he continues taking pics of his naked children for the next few years, until they say no. I think he'll stoke the flames every other year give or take.

So I haven't really had time to address everything that's been happening with my photography and the international attention it's been getting. I've been on a motorcycle trip shooting photos out in the middle of nowhere... but here are a few things I'd like to say. First off, I never took my photos with the intention of exploiting my children (and I don't feel a need to defend myself at all), this all came about as a response to the words and actions taken by others. For me it's as much about the rights of people to live unafraid as it is about the artistic merit of the work. The way I curated the show, and the book I made, was to juxtapose the images against the vitriolic backlash they received. The entire point was to position people's perspectives against two different viewpoints, and ultimately, to enable a conversation.

The press I've gotten spans not only America, but the globe. I'm getting calls and having articles printed in such esteemed publications as The Huffington Post, The Examiner, Time Magazine, Reddit, Petapixel, and as far away as Hong Kong, Denmark, Australia, Brazil, and more, and Monday I'm going to Time Warner studios in New York to do a television interview (details to follow). Point is, it's working. Through all the press, there have been literally THOUSANDS of comments posted, with debates, concessions and outright battles being waged in threads all over the internet. This makes me happy.

I want to defend people against the encroachment and compression of our liberties. I want us to live forward into opportunity instead of in fear of dark possibilities. If we all lead with our most accepting, respectful, open hearts, and endeavor to be our brother's keeper rather than our brother's aggressor, we can beat this shit and build a world we're proud to pass down to our children.

It's a publicity stunt. A sick one at that. I have two young daughters and I'll be damned if I ever take a photo of them naked and there's no way in hell I would ever post it online. He is exploiting his daughter for his own professional growth. With that said, I don't think he's shooting "child porn", but I can see how sick mother fuckers in this world will start saving or trading his daughter's pictures. Why put your child in that situation? He's guilty of being a selfish prick but not child pornography. He needs an ass kicking not jail.

I have two boys I have raised since the youngest was born, now 15 and 18 years old, I never at 1 time took any pic's of my kids naked, maybe with their shirt off but NEVER EVER below the belt. The only pic's I have ever taken and posted online they were clothed, and they were my babies which I was proud of.. I personally wouldn't of done what he did, but in my mind he did NOT break any laws, moral maybe a little seeing the way this world is now. Kind of feel sorry for her when she gets older, wonder if he or anyone that does that even thinks about that.

Fungus: totally agree with you. I also don't think he broke any laws, but personally me would never allow my kids be naked on the beach. It's "too personal" IMHO.

Yea amen to that, only in the house when no one was there but me and the kids, They all ways wore at min underwear or their diapers. :pimp I didn't want to see them totally nude, but underwear only was ok hell I did that still do it.. till I look in the mirror and see my fat ass stomach then goes back the shirt lol:1orglaugh

Think about it from the daughters perspective. Remembering daddy in the tub, with the camera to his face, legs spread, trying to get the perfect shot.

The shots of her naked jumping up and down on the hotel bed. Her getting tired but daddy with camera to his face telling her to keep going as he gets just the right angle.

I wonder if he's kept all the non published pics. The ones at the wrong angle or that were to suggestive or edgy to publish. I wonder if he'll let his daughter see those too when she's older.
