Where I live you have two options. Cable internet which forever only went to 30mbps and the phone company that offered up to 60mbps.

About 6 months ago the cable company increased to a max of 100mbps. Now the phone company is promising 1gbps by early next year.

Could be a curse as well. Once they realize the mass amount of gay porn your downloading with your new increased speed they might just close your account, pace yourself. :winkwink:

Wow nice. Fucking Cox SAYS they doubled our speed here in Las Vegas. I don't see any difference.

I get over 50Mb/s downstream and normally over 6Mb/s upstream.

Depends on what you're paying for.

It doesn't do much good when all the websites are slow as shit while they pull ads from 20 different domains to load one page.

Up until last year or so, I was paying £17.99 a month, and only getting 1mb download speed !

Then 'BT Infinity Plus' became available and I switched. It costs me just £4.00 more and I get about 60/65Mbs...

They upgraded mine last week. Now so fast I fired a couple of employees. I can now do their work in 2 hours what used to take them 40. Sweet.

100 mbps here for less $$ than we got 1.5 to 3 in Los Angeles. Its a nice change.

I have TWC and a regular cable speed which is 10mbps. Does it even make that much difference while doing normal things on the web?

This is what mine shows, maybe they just did it. Cause thats pretty damn fast.

In theory I have 100Mbps from Time Warner. It rarely delivers, but it is still faster than alternatives I've tried.

Where are you and what kind of plan are you on that you get that kind of nice upload speed?
