                              The only way to save Lord of the Rings is:

                              Re-edit ALL 3 films into one 90 minute feature.

                              You wouldn't lose any story, because there is no story. Oh, wait, doesn't a troll toss a ring into a fire pit after walking around for a few days? Oops, sorry, there some story.

                              You wouldn't lose any special effects because every Ring movie is 100% identical.

                              Even then, if it was just one 90 minute film, it would still SUCK MY ASSHOLE OUT AND LEAVE IT FOR DEAD...Because it would still be the most boring piece of crap ever made.

                              Did I mention it was BORING? Oh, but if you like cartoon spiders, walking trees, cartoon battles with the same fucking dragon flying around every 10 minutes, and a cartoon dwarf screeching in your face for hour after hour after hour with no let up, then you'll probably disagree with my opinion.
