owning .fr domain if you don't live in france

is it legit?

Ringo 08-19-2014 10:51 AM

and Harmon 'So Fucking BANNED' wow, for real?

aka123 08-19-2014 10:55 AM

If they let you register it, there shouldn't be problem. Unless you live in some country where such activity would be illegal, which is hard to imagine.

For example I have UK address even it nowadays seems to require residential address (which I don't have). No lawsuits yet.

You have to live in europe (i'm not 100% sure)

I have had this UK domain for years and then it was totally OK. Just registered some domains yesterday and then I saw some stuff that UK domain would need residential address (in UK I guess). I have also seen something similar before, but can't remember everything (just the most important things, like what Justin Bieber did this week).

Would some PO box suffice for residential address? At least I have otherwise used PO box for business with good success (have real address too, not hobo, at least yet).
