Several years ago, some bank robbers had some heavy grade arms and the LAPD was lacking so bad, they ran into a gun store and pulled out some heavy arms they were selling to take down the bad guys. Now because of that, they can go full military at a drop of a hat!

LAPD did what they had to do based on what we expect.
