Unable to view every site on 1 certain host

Out of nowhere, I am now unable to view every site on 1 certain host.

I am certain the host is fine, the sites are all online, up and fine. This totally an isp problem. I've tried certain proxy and I get page not found or DNS errors. This has been 2 days now.

Anyone know why this would happen or how to fix this?

The same thing happened last month, I thought it was because my router was old, I bought a new router and the problem was solved with that. So now it's sure thing not a router problem, not a hosting problem, totally isp problem (and they have no clue wtf is the problem either :( )

EVERY thing else works, skype, icq, all downloads, all websites on all hosts, only 1 certain host (my own host :Oh crap )

yeah you are going to have to switch service.

I had this a few months back. Turns out it was a problem with malwarebytes.

Use a public rather then your isps dns.

GoogleDNS or OpenDNS.

Set it up in both the pc and router.

Is it possibly for this reason?

ISPs are having a hard time guaranteeing DNS resolution.

PS: One solution is to hardcode your DNS resolutions in your windows host file (or similar if on mac or linux).

Example

111.111.111.111 acme.com
222.222.222.222 website.com

You have to do nslookup on a windows command prompt
log into SSH on a server and use dig in SSH

Try internet interface traceroute sites

Use a public DNS on your computer or router.

What is probably happening is your ISP's router is not updating its DNS entries or the DNS servers for your domain are not refreshing properly. or?

This is what I've been trying: https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using

And so far nothing works still :(

Been working on this for hours, wtf!!!!!!!

I have had the problem with godaddy. They started to email when they were doing work on their servers. Now they have the cpanel, which is different than their old server.

I use cloudfare, and with the cpanel hosting, their speed is normally good. I use GTMetrix to check my speed. However last month, and last week, were over the top. My sites were out, I got emails from WMT saying could not crawl.

Had this happen to me with at&t when in Florida with all Webair sites 2 years ago. Verizon (my back up ISP) worked fine.

Had someone with AT&T check the sites in NY and they were fine.

Both At&t and Webair denied the problem existed. Proved it to both of them all with each others contact number and the problem was fixed by the next morning.

Turns out some fiber was replaced in NJ after Hurricane Sandy and some switches or routers were set up wrong.

Try this: edit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and add domain.com 127.0.1.1 (Replace 127.0.1.1 with ip address of your server) .Repeat step for each domain.
Ofcourse this is temporal solution but it serve the purpose.

Won't fix the problem for surfers with the same ISP:2 cents:
