Who would of thought these kids would still be kickin it 20 years later
 

Weezer's first album was released in 1994 and hit 16th in the billboard 100 for album sales. Over the next 20 years they released 8 total albums with all but the 1st two breaking the top 10 for sales.

In September they release their 9th album which I'm sure will be as good as all the others. awesome band IMO that seems to not only create great song after great song, but also great album after album.

anyway above was the song that started it all for them.. yet in those 20 years I've never seen them live.. :(

Not a huge fan but got 1 or 2 CDS I think. Dig that tune though, time flies. :thumbsup

I saw them live once in the late 90's...and about 2 summers ago with the Flaming Lips at Jones Beach.

Saw them live at the hardrock in Vegas about 7 years ago. Good show. Great band.

My friend is interviewing Rivers Cuomo today for a magazine / blog that he writes for.

On of my long time favorite bands. I've gotten to see them twice.

I find it amazing that a band full of 40 year olds are still writing songs about bongs and high school relationships.

How many bands can say they have never evolved into anything in 20 years? oh right none.. hehe I don't hate them I just find it juvenile they never did anything more with it.
