Apple/Android app with adult content - possible?
 

I'm looking at possibly producing an app with adult content - but using text, not images or video. Do Apple & Google have a blanket ban on adult content, and I'm wasting my time, or is there a good chance it will be accepted?

Has anyone here created an adult app? Any issues with getting it into the store?

yep, its not allowed in apple store and google play, but there are other android markets where you can place adult app.

With Android - just easily. The OS allows one to install the applications form 3rd-party sources (e.g. your site). As about iOS - just forget it. This piece of shit works with its own appstore only.

Damn, guess it's Android only then. But on my phone, to install an app from a third party you have to go into settings and explicitly allow it.

I think I have more iOS than Android customers. Time to go and check my user agents.

If you need already an APP solution (Android) for adult in Europe let me know :-)
