Saw Guardians of the Galaxy, no spoilers

I didn't know what to expect from this movie, I went because it's a Marvel movie and comes from their comics.

I loved it, laughed a lot, really funny movie, they have the wrestler Baptista in it, Vin Diesel play a sort of bad ass tree man, then there is the Raccoon. Good entertainment for everyone.

They tied in the other Marvel movies if you are paying attention and you won't believe the after scene that Marvel is famous for, if they bring back this character, I will be amazed because of how bad the last movie was about him.

A sequel is already planned for 2017 and I'm going to see it

From what I've seen, heard, and read about this it wasn't about hinting at a comeback for that character. It was more about evoking a reaction from the audience. As in sometimes a cutscene is just a cutscene, in this case one more look at him for Marvel fandom.

I'd be surprised if there was an actual sequel in the works. He's an entirely different sort of fowl but his movie was foul.

Saw it twice already because it was so awesome. Reminded me of an 80's summer movie experience when you watch a Star Wars or Indiana Jones movie.

Something we agree on, I've seen several movies this year, this one sticks out as the most entertaining.

My favorite one of the year.

I finally see some blockbuster positive comment, others are fail

Isn't anyone bothered by the fact this is a beefed up cartoon? Obviously, as a society we have evolved to the point where we no longer see things as good/evil so Hollywood has taken all of that and moved it to the comics/cartoons movie genre.

Edit: the above is is probably colored by the fact I am hopefully unlikely to like anything Vendzilla likes. hahahah

They really did it with this movie, so many great reviews!

I really enjoyed it. Didn't expect much, but I agree that it was like watching a Star Wars or India Jones movie. They did a great job on this one.

It's so good. Go see it at an IMAX theater. If you don't have a good time then check to see if you are dead.

It's not a superhero movie at all, even though it's Marvel studios....it's more of an old fashioned sci fi movie brimming over with imagination -- and it's funny.

Yet in person, you would probably like me and have a good time with me.

They really introduced 2 characters in the cut scene. 1 i believe they should be putting him into a future sequel

KickAssJesse 08-08-2014 02:19 PM

agreed... movie was really funny!

H-Tom 08-08-2014 02:33 PM

I hated Captain America and Thor 2 but this movie was fun to watch in a cinema.

I went to the drive in with my better half on the premier, we both loved it. An awesome movie for sure! :)

From what I read, they are NOT doing a movie on the Howard the Duck. It was just a nod to the character.

You can see all the upcoming movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe if you look on Wikipedia. Dates, movies, and so on listed there.

What I read was they were planning on using him in the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, we'll see, still funny
