According to Daniel Snyder, the owner of the NFL's Washington Redskins, the 2014 season will be the team's last as the 'Redskins', bowing to growing public and political pressure to change the team's name. Snyder told reporters at the Redskins' training camp facility in Ashburn, Virginia that beginning in 2015 the franchise will operate under the name of the Washington Porch Monkeys and that work is already underway on a new logo and uniform design.
