Ok i dont know much about how to get PR, but somehow i managed to grab PR2 and PR3 on some of my pages, now they are all at 1/10

Any ideas?

Is the domain from one that you acquired as an expired domain and built on it?

nope, all my domains i bought myself


like pleasuredvds.com or totaltwat.com


but i build ALOT of sub-pages and run alot of sites on sub domains, they usually carry a PR2+ (not that i ever cared)

Ive got a site thats has a PR5 yesterday it dropped to PR4. I was really pissed off... only to discover it was back to PR5 earlier today.

After you posted this thread, I looked again... and Im back down to PR4 :mad:

Lets hope things go back to normal soon!

The GoogleDance was running a little late this month. Check www2, www3 if the rankings have stabilized.

Download the Google Toolbar! You'll find your PR integrated into the bar when you load your site in the browser. You can also see your competitions PR as well.

Google is worrying too much about penalizing someone instead of providing good results. Are there any other good search engines that provide good results, much like google used to ?

how often google runs an update? When is the next update?

For most people (who get monthly spiders), its between the 28th and 4th of the month. This month Google seems to be behind schedule though. If you have a highly ranked site (based on PR), then you might be lucky enough to get a more frequent spider visiting your site (FreshBot).

I recently bought a domian that I really liked for a non adult thing and when dns resolved I saw it had a pr4. I was like 'sweet' but then next update and no pr at all. I'm assuming from your question that this is why??

alot of SE traffics :)

Google recently added to it's algo something that makes old links of an expired domain name irrelevant. In a nutshell, they don't count the old links anymore.
