Daniel Cormier crossed the line and should be fined. MMA has a hard enough time with acceptance as it is.

I dont know why but I cant stand jones anymore. I used to like him back a few years ago but lately his attitude makes me want to see him get hurt bad. I guess it might be his constant eyepokes too. Dirty fighter. I hope cormier ragdolls him and knocks him the fuck out like he did to Bigfoot.

Cormier is definitely the more likeable person but I just don't see how he is going to overcome Jones's athleticism, length, speed, random style of attack. A very interesting fight for sure.

Cormier is an D1 Wrestling Champion All American. He has never lost a round in MMA. He's destroyed some of the best at Heavyweight, Jon Jones showed his weakness with Gus, Cormier is going to destroy him at Light Heavyweight.

Im with Anthony. Not because he's usually right with his observations, but DC just has more competition experience with being a wrestler.

DC was crushing heavyweights that way would out weigh him and he through them around like rag dolls.


DC for the win on this one. Curious how the Vegas odds makers have this one.

Wrestling doesnt matter if you cant take a guy down.

I really dont see him dominating the fight with wrestling.

For the most part Jones is around a -165 favorite, and Cormier is around a +145 underdog. Not sure if you are familiar with Joey Oddessa, who makes the boxing and MMA lines that most offshore books copy, but he personally believes Cormier should have opened as the favorite, and is going to be placing a large bet on him.

I have a very hard time myself seeing Cormier losing this fight, he rag dolled guys like Josh Barnett, who is monstrous in size compared to him, and easily out wrestled Dan Henderson of all people. I have a feeling Jones is going to be spending a lot of time on his back getting mauled...

As good as Jones is I think he will have a hard time keeping the belt in this one.

Thats how I see it.

Jones is very talented, DC is a fucking beast!! And being a wrestler isn't the big key, being an Olympic Gold medalist is a whole other level not really seen or felt in UFC competition until DC came along.


I spoke to Josh Barnnet before and after his fight with DC. He said after his fight: "That guy is an unreal Beast and he is for real!"

Keep in mind Barnet chills at 250lbs and is a monster. Now you have DC at 205lbs? DC did not get less strong and less Beastly.


Its gonna be a good fight. I saw this happening when UFC bought out Strike force. I knew DC was going to get groomed to fight Jones and the 205ers.


Jones better bring his "A" Game, because he will 100% get taken down. It will be how he responds after getting dumped multiple times is going to be everything.


KO can always finish it on either side, but for sure this one will be the one to watch.

Jones is gonna have to use that massive wingspan of his to try and keep Cormier at arm's length and avoid getting dumped on his ass, but Cormier is so damn strong I can see him eating a few on purpose just to get his hands on Jones. It will be interesting to see how Jones responds on his back, we still don't really know how good his jiu jitsu is and if he would be able to pull off any subs from the bottom. This is definitely the most excited I've been for a fight in a while, I'm becoming a huge Cormier fan and would love to see him pull this off. He kinda reminds me of Jones in the way that he looks like such an improved fighter after every fight...

Love the points you have made. Given the fact that Jones has choked out Machida with a standing guillotine, you have to give some respect to his grappling acumen. Regardless, I am very excited for this fight, and I think it will be a good fight no matter the outcome.

Jones biggest advantage has always been his reach and ability to control distance.
Cormier will crowd him, negate his reach and end it in less than 3 rounds.
He is a terrible matchup for Jones.

This fight is going to be the same. He's going to get inside, establish his dominance with his wrestling, take it to the ground and GnP Jones. After Gus fight, Jones isn't looking as dominating as he once was.

ummm hendo is a dinosaur. a legend and one of my fav but none the less a dinosaur and not jon jones.

i don't see DC dominating Jones' reach and speed with his wrestling.

also DC has somewhat recent injuries.

dc is tough and seems like a good dude but not sure he's getting the Win here.
