Let's see here....intelligence test....so you see a lot of galleries on The Hun every day, right? New ones, day after day after day....and yet you wonder if those galleries are making any money for those who submit them....hmmmm.....never stopping to ask yourself if they didn't make money why would people submit them? Back in the day it was real easy to make money working 2-3 hours a day submitting galleries. I haven't done it for a long time now, maybe 5 years but it was still making money, I just decided to stop and focus on other stuff instead.

I started submitting in 99. 2 hours a day and be done was fun indeed ;)

none - the hun gets revenue from pre-paid gallery placements on the top 15 spaces and banners. the rest of the galleries are free placements.

if there is traffic, you can sure make money, if you have the right unseen content ... i dont want to cry again ... but, tried to submitting some fresh stuff to thehun, everything have been done by their terms, as i did some galleries submitting before with no problem, just, when i started to submit fresh unseen galleries from new sites, mine gallery got never approved, but someone else got the same gallery submitted the same day or few days later ... i said, pure steal of information, so i gave up there ... but not saying it must be the same nowadays ... :2 cents:

I've been off the industry for about 6 years and latelly got back to test it again as I me and my family have some financial difficulties at the moment.

I had 2 galleries listed by thehun, about 30k unique views, 800 clicks to sponsor and 0 sales.
These were different sponsors, different niches.
I remember my first gallery listed was for Tawnee Stone of lighspeed and I got 20+ sales for that gallery alone, it was insane!

I have to say the TGP game is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder now:
- traffic has decreased 10 times
- conversion rates have increased 10 times

It really makes me wonder, specially when you have all these people saying they still do good with thehun.

On a related subject, it was a schock to me seeing that the biggest TGPs I knew now charge webmasters to submit galleries.
They say that it is to keep cheaters out, my opinion is that they're trying to get back the money they are losing at the webmasters expenses.
I see nothing wrong with it, people have to pay their bills.

Since TGP and AVS was my game back in the day I am learning more about other areas of the business but still struggling to have a concrete business plan.

Hell yes, it does. I submit to thehun, weekly. The traffic/ratios are not the same as years ago, but I don't push porn sponsor galleries anymore. That might be the difference between myself and other gallery submitters, here.

The HUN used to charge around $200+ for one line, for one day only, during the prime of the adult market, when surfers actually purchased memberships. Now, you can get into the HUN for free.

The HUN relies on dreamers to keep submitting galleries to keep their own traffic up, so they can make a few pennies on advertising. The HUN, like 99.9% of ALL adult posts have sunk.

We got around 20.000 uniques per gallery submited in the first day, but very very few memberships coming from TheHun.

Plus that their rules are pretty weird. For instance, we had to replace all the "next page" buttons (which actually linked to the next page).
